Volunteers and representatives from the Provincial Government gathered at Herrema Fields in Uxbridge on May 10th to participate in the fifth annual Provincial Day of Action on Litter. The Township of Uxbridge and the Active Transportation Committee are encouraging residents to participate in Bike to Work Day, an initiative promoting an environmentally sustainable way to get to work, school or play. Township to Upgrade Signage Within the Countryside Preserve

The Township of Uxbridge Parks and Trails Department is upgrading the maps and post numbers within the Countryside Preserve the week of May 13th (weather permitting) in an effort to streamline navigation. As part of the upgrade, the current post numbers will be modified to better align with the updated maps, providing clarity and convenience.

Hospital Helipad Temporarily Moving to Fields of Uxbridge

Redevelopment of the Uxbridge Hospital will begin in late fall 2024. During hospital construction, the helipad supporting Ornge Air Ambulance will be relocated to provide a safe location to land air-ambulances. The hospital itself will remain operational during all phases of construction.
