The Town of Uxbridge hosts many events throughout the year and are always looking for volunteers.
Rib Fest, Duck Derby, Huck Finn Day, Highlands of Durham Games, Uxbridge Fall Fair, Art in the Park, Uxbridge Half Marathon, Uxperience, Africycle events, Uxbirdge Youth Centre events, and much more!

Volunteer Appreciation
Municipal Gov : 2010 Volunteer Recognition Program
The Ontario government, through the Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration, recognizes volunteers from all sectors through various programs.
Forms and additional information are available on the Ministry’s website at www.citizenship.gov.on.ca/english/. The Nomination Closing Dates are: VSA - January 25, 2010; JCOAA - January 15, 2010; OMYV - January 31, 2010.
Volunteers give so much to build strong, diverse communities. Submit a nomination and give them the recognition they deserve.
