Brookdale Road Culvert Replacement

The Public Information Session was held on May 16, 2013 at Town Hall for the Brookdale Road Culvert Replacement Class Environmental Assessment Study.  The engineering consultant has provided a power point presentation outlining the Class Environmental Assessment Study for the public to view, along with a comment sheet should anyone wish to provide comments on the Study.  Please find below the Notice with respect to the Study, the power point presentation, as well as the comment sheet.  Should you have any further questions, please contact Ben Kester, Director of Public Works and Operations at bkester@town.uxbridge.on.ca

Public Works Department Fees

Design Criteria (CD Format)  
     Picked up at Municipal Office $25.00 plus HST
     Mailed $25.00 plus postage
Road Damage Deposit $100.00 per meter of Frontage
Entrance Permit $1,100.00 ($1,000.00 refunded after
entrance is finished and inspected
Filming Permit $500.00 plus applicable rental fees for municipal facilities or cost recovery for any municipal service
Municipal Consent $150.00
Encroachment Agreement Application $300.00

Encroachments

The Director of Public Works and Operations considers to permit or not permit encroachments on public lands on an individual basis dependant upon the Applicant being able to prove that the need for the encroachment is reasonable, feasible and no alternative option exists.  In addition, the Applicant must prove to the Director of Public Works and Operations that the encroachment does not jeopardize the health and safety of the public, must be in the public's best interest and must be minor in nature.

Please review the Encroachment By-law prior to making application for an Encroachment Agreement.

A request for an Encroachment Agreement will only be accepted using the Encroachment Agreement Application Form
