“Uxbridge in the Sun” Photography Contest

We had such a successful and positive response the last time we ran a photo contest that we are doing it again!

Help decorate our new website with photography of the Township’s beauty in the Spring and Summer.

The details:

• How to submit – Post your image on our Flickr group here:
  • http://www.flickr.com/groups/uxbridgetwp/
• You’ll need to sign up for a free Flickr account to do this.
• Need help in adding a photo? Once you have an account, below is a great video to assist you.
• Submission deadline – There is no submission deadline for this Photo Contest. You can submit as many entries as you would like.
• How it will be used – We’ll use your imagery throughout the new Township web site.
• We may also include snapshots in materials used to promote the new web site.
• Rights to use imagery – By uploading your image we’ll ask you to confirm that you’ve taken the image, and have the approval to use it.
• Desired images – We’re looking for images of the Township of Uxbridge, either scenery or at events, that display the beauty of Uxbridge in the Spring and Summer. Our focus is on the Township, and while photos of individuals are welcome, they should fit within demonstrating what Uxbridge Township has to offer to citizens and visitors.

Rights to use images
Within the Flickr campaign, to post a photo will require affirmation of the following terms. You may wish to review these to ensure they fit your needs.

Licence: With your agreement, you affirm you are the sole author or creator of these images. You grant the Township of Uxbridge a non-exclusive, revocable licence to reproduce the Images solely for the purpose specified in the Use of Images. The Images may not be used for a purpose other than the specified purpose without your prior written consent.

Use of Images: The Township of Uxbridge will utilize these images within the web site residing at http://www.town.uxbridge.on.ca/ and within online and offline materials promoting this web site.

Attribution of Images: In any use of an Image in any medium, the Township of Uxbridge will include a credit, or procure a credit, next to each Image in the following form: “Jane Doe/jane.doe@gmail.com” where “Jane Doe” is the name of the Photographer.
